I wish i could stop the cursor from blinking
sitting there mocking me
taunting me to go on
judging each word I type
with arrogance and disdain.
"Really?" it asks, incessantly
like your 5 year old asks "why?"
until you lose your mind.
Is that all you got?
Maybe I am crazy...
having conversations
with blank screens.
I'm hard on myself.
what if it's not great?
It doesn't have to be.
No matter what I write
the cursor will always blink.
